I have been in the financial industry since 2014, starting as a Financial Advisor with Investors Group and then transitioning to the Mortgage Broker side in 2017.

I grew up in Killarney, MB, and moved to Brandon in grade 2. There, I attended Linden Lanes, Vincent Massey High School, and then attended Brandon University for four years.

 

I am still recognized in the community as an "old Source for Sports guy."  I spent 10 years at Source and made some amazing relationships that are strong to this day.

I'm a former 12-year hockey coach and an active member of the community. In 2019, I received the Brandon Sun Reader Choice GOLD award for 'Most Dedicated Volunteer—Youth Sports'.

I'm married to my successful and beautiful wife, Jill, who owns Oak & Ivy Salon. 

In my personal time, you can find me at the YMCA, where I have recently taken a serious and rewarding drive for fitness and health. 

 

I’m also a Special Olympics Coach (Floor Hockey and baseball), a Volunteer with VOLT Hockey, and a weekly attendee at the Brandon Humaine Society.

 

I can be seen every day walking my dogs, Finn and Zander, around our amazing community and meeting new friends at the dog park.

I believe that Canadians deserve to have the best possible advice and guidance when they decide to buy a home.  I pride myself in long-term relationships with my clients, and I will stay with you from the start of the application process, through the term and into renewal+

I can offer the industry's best rates and products, but my passion for educating my clients and finding the best mortgage for them sets me apart from the competition.

Spoiler: Not every mortgage is set up to benefit the client; some have brutal penalties and terms that can be hard to get out of.  Even if you think/know you are a AAA client to a bank/lender they will still try to take advantage of you don't understand what you are signing up for.

​

Has the bank ever asked you what you are trying to accomplish with your mortgage in 2-3-5 years? If you're looking for a transactional mortgage purchase, switch/transfer or re-finance, then I'm not the guy for you.  You will never be a 'number' to me.​
